Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a long term substitute Special Education Teacher at Roseville Area High School. The licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students; collaborates with general education staff including co-teaching assignment; communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; and supervises paraprofessionals. This position includes case management of federal setting I and II students with varying disabilities (EBD, SLD, OHD) as well as teaching replacement special education Algebra courses and co-teaching Earth Space Science 9. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE position for the 26-27 school year starting August 31, 2026.

Qualifications:

A MN Teaching License in Special Education is required; EBD preferred.

Compensation:

Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085 (see attached matrix), plus a generous benefits package.
