Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and physical development for school-age children Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Support children's individual needs by incorporating special education strategies when necessary Foster a welcoming environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among children of diverse backgrounds Collaborate with parents, guardians, and school staff to communicate progress and address any concerns Lead activities such as homework help, gym games, and arts and crafts to enrich the children's experience Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and early childhood education best practices Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and developmental stages Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Passion for nurturing children's growth through creative activities like theater or sports coaching is a plus Join us in creating a vibrant environment where children can learn, play, and grow!
