Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Valid Special Education teaching license or eligibility in Minnesota Experience working with diverse student populations and a range of exceptionalities Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Ability to differentiate instruction and provide individualized support Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Positive attitude and a deep commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction adapted to diverse learning styles and abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student achievement Conduct ongoing assessments, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress and strategies for success Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and social-emotional development In this contract role, educators can immerse themselves in a dynamic educational setting where their expertise is valued and their contributions directly improve students' lives.
