You'll work alongside dedicated educational professionals near Saint Paul, MN, developing individualized plans that foster both academic and personal growth for each learner.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid licensure as a Special Education Teacher Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field Experience working with students who have a variety of learning, emotional, or physical disabilities Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and creativity in instructional approaches to address differing learning styles Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom culture
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute lesson plans based on IEP goals and state standards Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with special needs Monitor progress, adjust teaching strategies, and track academic and behavioral data Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff Engage with parents and guardians through regular updates and meetings regarding student progress Implement positive behavioral interventions and support systems within the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning Take the next step in your teaching journey and use your skills to help every student succeed.
