Responsibilities:

The licensed teacher is responsible for delivering and instructing students in instructional material; evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives; participating and collaborating with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues, and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues.

Qualifications:

Persons applying for this internal position must be covered under the master agreement associated with this posting and will hold a license, appropriate to the subject matter, issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. Preference may be given to candidates with previous experience working with students in the appropriate subject matter or grade level of the position needing fulfillment or candidates who have taught summer school instruction for WAPS in the past.
