Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school environment near Blue Springs, MO. Multiple openings are available, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across various grade levels and specialties. Whether your passion is in resource teaching, self-contained classrooms, or co-teaching at the high school level, there is a position to match your expertise. Current specializations where teachers are needed include: Elementary Resource (3 vacancies) Middle School Resource (3 vacancies) High School Resource/Co-Teaching (5 vacancies) Contract SC Classic Teacher (2 vacancies) Self-Contained at Northwood School (2 vacancies) Self-Contained at Northwood Success Academy (1 vacancy) Essential qualifications: Valid Missouri Special Education teaching license Applications will be considered from educators fully credentialed in another state if Missouri licensure is pending Experience working in special education settings preferred Strong collaborative and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment All positions are on-site; remote options are not available In this contract role, you will: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students' diverse needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff Provide advocacy and support for students with diverse learning needs This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals and make a significant difference in students' lives while expanding your experience in Special Education.
