Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Special Education Teachers passionate about making a difference in students' lives. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher certification Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in either self-contained or resource settings Solid understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including planning, implementation, and documentation Ability to fulfill all general responsibilities and duties associated with the Special Education Teacher role Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to professional growth and collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs across K-12 classrooms Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure student progress and compliance with educational standards Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create an inclusive, supportive academic environment Employ a variety of strategies to engage and motivate learners, adapting approaches to meet individual needs Maintain accurate records, report on student progress, and participate in meetings as required Uphold school protocols while fostering a safe and encouraging space for all students This is a fantastic chance to build meaningful connections with students while further developing your skills as an educator.
