$47,000 $80,000 annually (based on education and experience)About the RoleKVC Academy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to support students with Autism in a highly structured, therapeutic learning environment.

This role is ideal for educators with hands-on experience working with students with autism, including those who are non-verbal and/or have high support needs. You will play a critical role in helping students build communication, independence, emotional regulation, and functional life skills in addition to academic growth.

Our small classroom settings allow for highly individualized instruction and meaningful relationship-building with students who require consistency, patience, and specialized support.

This position goes beyond traditional classroom teachingyou will support the whole child, including assistance with daily living skills such as toileting and self-care, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team focused on learning and healing.

What Youll DoProvide individualized instruction for students with Autism and complex learning needsImplement IEPs with fidelity in a structured, therapeutic classroom environmentSupport communication development (including non-verbal and AAC users)Assist with functional life skills, including self-care and independence routinesCollaborate with clinical, behavioral, and educational teamsCreate a safe, predictable, and supportive learning environment that promotes growthUse data-driven strategies to support student progressIdeal Candidate ProfileWe are especially looking for educators who have:
