Responsibilities Act as a patient liaison, answer any questions from potential or current patients Attain and maintain daily metrics in FYZICAL's Daily Management Report (DMR). Attain and maintain an exceptional level of your Key Performance Indicator (KPI) as evidenced through meeting or exceeding a high percentage Arrival Rate. Successfully credential new and existing therapists with commercial insurance and Medicare. Successfully complete intake of patient with insurance verification, Handle patient scheduling, appointments, multi-phone line Gather new patient data; keep track of all patient referrals Disseminate information to patients; act as a go-between for patients and physicians Communicate with clinician team about scheduling/patient arrival Send and keep a log of all reports sent to doctors Collect all payments; insurance verification Collect/open/distribute mail Send benefits paperwork to billing companies Fax reports to physicians; keep a log of incoming reports Verify Insurance and track insurance-covered visits; Collection of copayments Skills & Qualifications Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity and empathetic toward people that are in pain Be a Great Multitasker! Infectious Personality! You will set the tone for the patient as soon as they walk in the door, as well as when they leave 2-3 Years Experience in a Medical Office Setting 2 yr College Degree or Vocational College Certificate Preferred at a Minimum Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented Excellent at handling details, communicating and multitasking Great demeanor, strong integrity and compassion
