Middle School Resource Special Education Teacher

$36-$40 per hour

Schedule:

Full-time, Days (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; hours may vary based on school assignment) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a resource classroom setting. In this role, you will work with students diagnosed with a range of academic and/or behavioral disabilities, helping them achieve individualized learning goals and succeed in an inclusive educational environment. Key Responsibilities Provide instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Develop and deliver daily lesson plans tailored to student needs Monitor student progress and ensure comprehension using IEP reporting Create, update, and manage required federal and state documentation (IEPs and related paperwork) Collect and evaluate student data to adjust instruction and accommodations Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations are implemented Conduct meetings with parents, staff, and stakeholders to review and adjust educational plans Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development Maintain organized, accurate records for each student Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate (Special Education certification preferred) Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred MANDT certification may be required Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to adapt to telework if requested by the district Apply Today If you are a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for an upcoming school year contract , apply now to join Crowley ISD and make a difference in students' lives!
