Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire curiosity, foster development, and create a joyful learning environment. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities tailored to toddlers' unique needs, implement engaging curriculum, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Your energy and dedication will help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and well-being. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, early intervention strategies, and childhood development milestones for two-year-olds Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, physical education, and hands-on learning experiences aligned with Abeka principles and preschool best practices Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs related to special education or behavior management, and support child welfare initiatives Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality childcare and classroom management Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child observations, and developmental milestones in compliance with licensing standards Skills Strong background in early childhood education with experience working with children aged two years old Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques suitable for toddlers Knowledge of behavior management strategies Proficiency in literacy education, math concepts for early learners, and teaching physical education activities Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with Abeka program and preschool experience preferred Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual child needs while maintaining a positive classroom environment Join us in shaping the future by providing an enriching start for our youngest learners! $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
