Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and educate students that are three to four years of age and create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and confidence. Your expertise will help students with diverse abilities reach their full potential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while fostering their academic and social development. Responsibilities Design and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of each student, incorporating curriculum development and instructional principles, we use the Abeka program (Christian based program). Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and music to support behavioral health and learning outcomes. We have many hands on manipulatives to incorporate in daily teaching. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction, facilitate assessments and track student progress effectively. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect. Provide support for their social-emotional and well-being alongside their educational growth. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development or a related field; advanced certifications or licenses are preferred. Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings or special education environments. Strong love for children and wanting to work with children. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, caregivers, colleagues, and specialists such as speech therapists or occupational therapists. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning. Knowledge of learning technology tools and instructional design methods to create engaging lessons tailored for diverse learners. Pay:
$10.00 - $16.00 per hour
