This role offers an exciting opportunity to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. As a vital member of our educational community, you will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning by implementing innovative curricula and supporting children's individual needs in a warm, supportive environment. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogies. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm for learning. Support children's social-emotional development by encouraging communication skills, empathy, and self-regulation techniques. Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and basic science into daily lessons to stimulate curiosity across multiple domains. Collaborate with colleagues to design individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain detailed records of children's progress through assessments and standardized testing where applicable; communicate regularly with parents about developmental milestones and classroom activities. Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare and complies with all daycare and childcare licensing regulations. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored to 4-year-olds. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and early intervention strategies. Experience working with children requiring special education accommodations or behavioral support plans is preferred. Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive early childhood instruction. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous; certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.
