In this role, you will provide expert overnight care, ensuring babies are safe, comfortable, and well-nurtured while supporting parents with compassionate, professional assistance. Your energy and expertise will help foster a peaceful environment that promotes healthy sleep routines and early childhood development. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in families' lives through attentive caregiving and early childhood support. Duties Provide overnight care for newborns, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and monitoring sleep patterns to promote healthy routines Observe and document baby's health, sleep habits, and developmental milestones during each shift Support parents by offering reassurance, guidance on infant care practices, and addressing their concerns with professionalism and empathy Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Collaborate with families to understand specific routines and preferences to ensure consistent care Assist with light household tasks related to infant care, such as sterilizing bottles or organizing baby supplies Communicate effectively with parents during shift changes to ensure seamless continuity of care Requirements Proven experience in infant care, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education roles involving newborns and young children Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers BLS Certification Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong understanding of toddler care routines, including feeding schedules and sleep training methods Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members Ability to remain alert during overnight hours while maintaining a caring and nurturing demeanor Join us in providing exceptional overnight care that nurtures infants' growth while supporting families through compassionate expertise.
