  • Instruction of IEP goals and adapted grade level content
  • Differentiate Instruction
  • Complete IEP paperwork and other re-evaluations as need
  • Collaborate with grade level teachers and rest of EC team Qualifications and Skills We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to teach the Extended Content Standards, provide direct instruction, and coordinate EC compliance and paperwork for students with extensive support needs.
The educator will work closely with Individual Education Plan (IEPs) and will collect, analyze, and respond to data. The Educator will hold parent and staff meetings and maintain confidentiality and comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines related to the special education program. We are looking for an educator with a strong sense of JOY and love to support our students and help them grow!
EC Teachers must:
Hold the appropriate licensure for teaching or administrating special education programs. Lateral entry may be considered. Must work well with elementary and middle school students Have good Classroom Management Have a four year college degree Be kind, dedicated, and patient
