Job Description

Little Steps, Big Leaps is looking for a high energy, motivated Behavior Technician to join our team. We are seeking a staff member for the hours of 830-330 pm Monday-Friday for an in-clinic position. Current Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred, but not required. The position is open to anyone who would like to participate in training to become an
RBT. LSBL
will require certification, but will assist the right candidate in obtaining the credential. Little Steps, Big Leaps provides compassionate ABA services that focus on the individual client's motivation. Our youngest clients participate in group-led, individualized ABA therapy in a mock pre-k environment. We also provide services to clients who need 1:1 intervention or social skills groups. This position is for clients between the ages of 2 and 10 years old and could include preschool or school-based services. Early intervention experience is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
Motivation to learn about ABA to provide quality services to clients 4-year degree in a related field OR at least 2 years of working with children diagnosed with Autism or similar related childcare experience Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred, but will work with the right applicant to obtain the certification within 90 days. Clear background check Ability to be active, get up and down from a seated position quickly, and be able to lift and move at least 25 pounds. Ability to remain active and engaged for duration of 3 hour session
Job Duties:
Provide 1:1 applied behavior analysis services in the clinic setting Engage in high-energy gross motor and play activities with early learners Take daily data and complete session notes promptly Follow behavior intervention plans Collaborate with peers and supervisors respectfully Perform daily duties related to organizing and cleaning materials used in session (wipe tables after session, return toys to their proper storage place, ect).
