Qualifications:
Valid NC teaching license in Special Education or eligibility for NC licensure Experience with mild to moderate disabilities (middle school preferred) Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team Passion for fostering student growth and inclusion
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a caseload of 12 in a self-contained setting Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
