As a floater, you will bring energy, flexibility, and a caring attitude to ensure every child receives high-quality care and education. Responsibilities Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Provide attentive care during diapering, feeding, nap time, and other routine needs with compassion and professionalism. Foster positive interactions with children to promote social-emotional development and encourage curiosity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and equipment to ensure a healthy learning space. Collaborate with team members to adapt activities for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary, to safeguard children's well-being. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Experience supporting infants through preschool-aged children in educational or caregiving settings. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining patience and enthusiasm.
