Local and travel packages available (typically $1,800-$2,000/week , depending on local vs. travel) About the Role Empower Behavioral Health is seeking four full‑time High School Special Education Teachers (General Curriculum) to support Lincoln County Schools for the 2026-2027 school year . These are in‑person roles serving students in grades 9-12 who require specially designed instruction, academic intervention, and support aligned to their IEPs. Assignments may include Resource, Inclusion, Co‑Teaching, or small‑group academic support depending on campus needs. The district is interviewing over the next week, and we are gathering candidates now. Responsibilities Provide specially designed instruction aligned to NC Standard Course of Study for high school students Deliver services through inclusion support, co‑teaching, small‑group instruction, and individualized interventions Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with NC DPI and federal guidelines Collaborate with general education teachers, EC staff, administrators, and related service providers Implement accommodations, modifications, and intervention plans Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and service logs Support executive functioning, study skills, and academic readiness for post‑secondary pathways Create a structured, positive, student‑centered learning environment What We Offer Weekly pay Local and travel pay options Travel packages typically totaling $1,800-$2,000/week , including housing and meals Strong district partnership and consistent schedule Dedicated recruiter support Opportunity to join a stable, well‑organized team with long‑term district relationships Requirements Active or eligible North Carolina DPI teaching license with: Special Education - General Curriculum (K-12) endorsement (required) Experience supporting high school students preferred Ability to work full‑time, onsite for the 2026-2027 school year Prior school‑based experience preferred How to Apply Please submit your updated resume.
