EC Teacher

ArtSpace Charter School is a K-8 public charter school located in Swannanoa, NC (East Asheville area). We are seeking a full-time Exceptional Children Teacher to join our collaborative and student-centered team for the 26-27 school year. A $1,500 signing bonus is offered for this high-demand position. ArtSpace is known for its creative pedagogy, strong school culture, and supportive work environment. Our small EC caseloads allow teachers to build meaningful relationships with students and provide individualized support. With an average student-to-instructional staff ratio of 10:1, staff are able to focus on high-quality instruction and student growth. This position will support students in a variety of settings, including small groups, individual instruction, co-teaching environments, and separate settings. Grade level assignment is flexible and will be determined based on school needs and candidate strengths. Applicants MUST have a current North Carolina teaching license in Special Education. Applicants must have experience with writing/implementing IEPs and value collaboration.
