We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Afternoon/Part-time Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active learning among children. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods and other educational philosophies to support diverse learning styles. Support children's emotional well-being and promote child welfare through attentive care and responsive communication. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress, prepare reports, and participate in parent-teacher conferences. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, health guidelines, and licensing requirements related to childcare and preschool settings. Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Demonstrated classroom management skills with toddlers or preschool-aged students. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods for young learners. Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with literacy education, tutoring practices, physical education teaching, and Montessori educational approaches. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Previous classroom experience incorporating childhood development principles and child welfare best practices.
