Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher for a new contract opportunity in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This position focuses on serving as a resource specialist, providing individualized instruction and support to students who benefit from special education services. What we're looking for: Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience or training in developing and implementing IEPs Strong skills in differentiated instruction and classroom management Ability to collaborate effectively with general educators, administrators, and families Passion for fostering an inclusive, welcoming learning environment Current eligibility to work as a special education professional in a school setting Role responsibilities: Deliver resource support and direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individualized education plans Foster social and academic growth through evidence-based teaching and interventions Track student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure optimal support for each student Attend meetings, trainings, and participate in IEP development and reviews as assigned Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture As a Special Education Teacher in this role, you'll have the chance to create meaningful change, build positive relationships, and contribute to a school committed to student success.
