Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to join our educational team, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children of diverse needs. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in guiding classroom activities, developing tailored curricula, and supporting the holistic development of each child. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will inspire both students and colleagues alike, ensuring every child receives the highest quality education and care. Duties Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and social-emotional growth. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating early childhood education principles and developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and other specialists to support children with speech delays, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress through assessments and standardized testing. Support individualized education plans (IEPs) by adapting lessons to meet each child's unique needs and goals. Foster strong communication with families regarding children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Qualifications Proven classroom management skills with experience working in early childhood or preschool settings. Background in special education, deaf education, or working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Experience with curriculum development tailored for early intervention, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Knowledge of behavioral health practices including behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used in early childhood education environments. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development stages, childcare best practices, and child welfare policies. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate speech therapy techniques and support language acquisition.
