Our service offering includes primary medical care, behavioral health, pharmacy and dental services in an integrated model that provides a comprehensive approach to care for our patients. Position Overview The Quality Improvement Specialist assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives across the Medical Department, including the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) and Ryan White (RW) programs. This role focuses on data collection, performance measurement, compliance monitoring, reporting, and process improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Associate II - Medical works collaboratively with providers and administrative staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and evidence-based care practices.
THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY.
Essential Tasks Data Entry, Collection, and Analysis Conducts audits and utilizes software systems to generate reports using Excel, Business Objects, OCHIN Epic, and other databases, including clinical data reports, operational monitors, and other productivity reports. Quality Improvement Support Assists in the coordination and implementation of CQI initiatives across the Medical Department, including the Integrated Behavioral Health and Ryan White programs. Grant Management Assists with data collection and entry for grant reporting. Tracks project deadlines and requirements. Administrative Support Prepares for the Medical Continuing Improvement Team (CIT) meetings, by reserving the conference room, preparing and distributing the agenda, meeting invitations and other documents, ensuring equipment readiness, and taking meeting minutes. Care Coordination Assists with care coordination efforts, including care gap closures. patient mailings, Care Messaging campaigns and other activities as needed. Experience and Education Associate of Arts or Science degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management/Technology, Nursing, or a related field. One to three years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, data analysis, or clinical operations. Experience working with electronic health records and reporting tools. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals, third party vendors, and patients, in writing, in person, and by telephone. Proven computer skills required for the production of correspondence, forms, reports, and spreadsheets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8 AM - 5 PM 8-hour shift Day shift Physical Requirements Individuals may need to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional bending, stooping, lifting including of patients, reaching forwards and overhead. Possibly requires walking primarily on a level service for periods throughout the day. Both proper lifting techniques and frequent computer work are required. Base Pay Overview The starting pay for this position is $17.00 hourly.
