In this role, you will serve as a versatile educator, stepping into various classroom settings to support teachers and enhance the learning experience for young children. Your energetic approach and commitment to fostering a nurturing environment will ensure that every child receives high-quality care and education. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across different age groups and educational programs, including preschool, toddler care, and special education settings. Duties Assist classroom teachers by implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum development standards and early childhood education best practices. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities focused on childhood development principles. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and welcoming environment. Facilitate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other subject areas tailored to various developmental stages. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services, ensuring inclusive classroom experiences. Maintain organized classroom environments by preparing materials, managing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness in accordance with childcare standards. Communicate regularly with parents and team members about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom dynamics. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques is essential. Experience supporting children with special needs or in early intervention programs is advantageous. Knowledge of Montessori methods or standardized testing procedures can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining excellent communication skills is required. Previous classroom experience involving toddler care or preschool age groups will help you excel in this versatile position. A background in childhood development, early childhood education, or related fields will support your success as a Floater Teacher.
