Special Ed Teacher | Bellevue, Nebraska ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Bellevue, NE Job Details Contract 9 hours ago Qualifications School experience Special education for middle school students Working with students Special Education Certification Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This onsite contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where Special Education Teachers can collaborate with school staff to foster student growth, social development, and academic achievement. The needs focus on both elementary and middle school resource settings, providing a chance to tailor your expertise to a diverse group of learners.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in resource classroom settings, ideally at the elementary and/or middle school level Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Solid communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Positive approach to problem-solving and adapting to students' unique needs Ability to provide engaging, differentiated instruction to support diverse learners
Role Expectations & Duties:
Deliver high-quality instruction and intervention in resource classrooms Develop, review, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education staff, related services, and families to support student success Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals Foster an inclusive, supportive, and encouraging classroom environment Attend IEP meetings and staff development sessions as required Maintain accurate records and adhere to all district and state regulations This position provides a fantastic chance to help students thrive academically and socially, using your specialized training and passion for education.
