Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Experienced special education professionals are invited to make a meaningful impact in a middle school setting, providing tailored instruction to students with severe disabilities in a self-contained classroom. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to work onsite in a supportive environment dedicated to student growth and achievement. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing individualized educational plans designed to meet the unique learning needs of each student. With a focus on creating a positive, structured classroom atmosphere, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families, fostering communication and progress throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Demonstrated experience working with middle school students, particularly those with severe disabilities Knowledge of IEP development, educational assessment, and compliance Strong collaborative and communication skills for working with staff and families Commitment to professional growth and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
