Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Desired Qualifications:
Active Special Education Certification valid in Nebraska—required Previous experience teaching special education in an elementary (K-5) setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to develop, implement, and track goals Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with students, parents, and staff Adaptability and creativity in developing individualized lesson plans Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Your Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to promote student success Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student growth and achievement Track student progress, collect data, and participate in IEP meetings Adapt classroom materials and environment to maximize accessibility and engagement
