Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Looking for experienced Special Education Teachers passionate about making an impact in students' lives for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity, located near Claremont, NH, calls for dedicated professionals ready to support diverse learners and provide essential case management services. You'll be part of a collaborative educational environment with potential openings at both high school and elementary or preschool levels. The academic year runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with schedules ranging from 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Previous classroom experience as a Special Education Teacher is essential Comfort with case management responsibilities, including IEP development and progress tracking Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families Flexibility to work with either high school or elementary/preschool-aged students as determined by need Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
