Multiple openings are available supporting both resource room settings and a self-contained program focused on mental health and behavioral needs. You'll collaborate with school teams to create an inclusive, supportive environment for students at the middle school level.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required (Special Education) Experience supporting students in resource rooms or specialized mental health/behavioral programs preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Passion for supporting diverse learners and promoting positive behavioral interventions Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide targeted instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school staff and families Maintain accurate records of student progress and data Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Utilize proactive behavioral management and social-emotional learning strategies Engage in regular communication with parents/guardians Maintain a supportive classroom environment that values equity and inclusion Opportunities include three positions focusing on resource room/grade level support, and one position serving students in a self-contained, program-specific mental health and behavior setting. Work 32.5-35 hours per week within standard school hours (7:30 AM - 2:20 PM), offering a consistent schedule throughout the academic year (September 1, 2026 - June 16, 2027).
