Morning Support Staff / Caregiver (Part-Time, Autism Support)

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide morning support for a school-aged child with developmental needs in the home setting. This role focuses on helping establish a calm, structured morning routine and supporting the child in preparing for the school day and getting onto the bus. This posting is specifically for a morning support from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM Monday through Friday. We are also seeking a general respite support provider if interested in additional hours. Job Responsibilities Assist with morning routine (dressing, hygiene, breakfast support) Provide supervision and ensure safety Support communication using nonverbal methods (gestures, visuals, or assistive tools as needed) Help maintain a structured and predictable routine Assist with transitions (home → school bus) Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement Light clean-up related to morning routine

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children (required) Experience with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred) Patient, dependable, and calm demeanor Comfortable providing personal care support as needed Strong communication and reliability
