Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing - Telehealth Job Type Contract A specialized opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing with expertise in telehealth and teletherapy to provide consultative services. This contract role involves delivering tailored support to two students requiring specialized services, totaling approximately 8 hours per month.

Responsibilities:

Conduct teletherapy and telehealth sessions focusing on the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Develop and implement individualized strategies to support students' educational and communication goals. Collaborate with educators and families to enhance student progress through consultative guidance. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress. Stay current with best practices and technology advancements related to teletherapy and deaf/hard of hearing education.

Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Proven experience delivering education and therapy services via telehealth platforms. Strong understanding of communication modalities and assistive technology for deaf and hard of hearing students. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to provide consultative support efficiently within limited scheduled hours.
