Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals within the timeframes and standards of compliance prescribed by federal, state and local regulations and protocols. Provide direct instruction in academic, functional, and/or behavioral skills in individual or small group settings. Accommodate and/or modify general education curriculum to meet students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, related service providers, administrators, community service providers and families to support student success. Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of service implementation and adjusting instruction accordingly. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and behavior management techniques. Facilitate special education meetings in an efficient and complete way, ensuring all documents are prepared, available for team members, completed, filed and disseminated according to federal, state and local regulations and protocols. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance, progress, and needs. Complete progress reports in a timely manner and according to district/school policy Attends Department meetings as directed by the Director of Student Services Supervise Paraprofessionals in the support of student IEP goals, objective and accommodations Other Duties as Assigned A
