In this role, you will provide engaging, nurturing, and structured after-school care for children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that promotes their social, emotional, and developmental growth. Your energy and enthusiasm will inspire children to explore, learn, and enjoy their time beyond regular school hours. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while fostering a supportive and joyful atmosphere. Duties Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, and educational games Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote respect and cooperation Collaborate with parents, teachers, and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address any concerns Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid procedures Support children with special education needs by adapting activities to meet individual requirements Lead or assist in organizing extracurricular activities such as tutoring sessions, sports coaching, or Christian counseling programs Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting roles Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and empathy Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Ability to handle behavioral challenges with professionalism and care Experience working with children who have special needs or require individualized support Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Join us as an Aftercare Teacher to create a warm, safe space where children can thrive after school!
