Disabilities Program:
Kaleidoscope Early Intervention Program Work Hours:
Monday - Friday As assigned
Qualifications:
NJ Certified Teacher of the Handicapped At least one year experience in an Early Childhood Center or Early Intervention Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, transfer, move, handle children.
Overall Description:
Provide high quality, age appropriate instruction as assigned. Implementation of an Individualized Family Service Plan that meets the cognitive, social and developmental needs of all students.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and safeguard each family/child's right to privacy, respect and confidentiality. Implement Individualized Family Service Plan goals and objectives by creating lessons that are stimulating, high quality, and age appropriate. Maintain all required paperwork including visitation log, progress notes and time sheets. Attend and participate in conferences and workshops to document professional growth and development. Maintain knowledge of trends, directions and changes within the area of Early Intervention Services Perform additional related duties as requested by the Principal.
