Maternity Leave Replacement First Grade Position - September 2026 through February 2027. Responsibilities Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use various Best Practices and technology to facilitate learning. Use assessment data to provide individualized instruction to each student. Create and execute hands-on and engaging lessons and activities. Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback. Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Collaborate with administration, other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings. Attend and participate in monthly evening PTO events. Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seeking and participating in professional development. Skills Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills Well-organized and committed Creative and energetic Team Player Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education
