TEACHER-Full-Time Position Program Overview Inspire Academy is a credit-recovery and alternative education program supporting students who have struggled to meet graduation requirements in a traditional setting. The program emphasizes individualized instruction, strong relationships, academic accountability, and student success.

Job Goal:

Provide high-quality instruction and academic support using an online learning platform while collaborating with school staff and families to promote student engagement, credit completion, and on-time graduation.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (appropriate content area or Special Education preferred); Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Apex Learning or similar online platforms (Apex experience required); Experience working with at-risk, credit-deficient, or alternative education students preferred; Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; Ability to collaborate effectively with counselors, administrators, students, and families; Required criminal history background check.

Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction and academic support using the Apex online education platform; Monitor student progress and provide individualized interventions as needed; Coordinate student scheduling and academic planning with assigned School Counselors; Coordinate and attend student and parent/guardian meetings to review progress and provide support; Maintain consistent communication with students, families, counselors, and administrators; Complete and distribute quarterly progress reports; Maintain accurate records, attendance, and documentation per district policy; Support students in developing organization, accountability, and academic confidence; Participate in meetings, professional development, and program planning; Provide support for program-related activities as needed.
