Position:

Middle Teacher of Students with Disabilities LLD West Brook Middle School Effective Date(s): August 26, 2026 through June 30, 2027

Employment Terms:

Tenure Track; 10-month school year Full-time; eligible for health insurance benefits Position is associated with the terms and conditions of the negotiated Agreement between the Educational Association of Paramus (EAP) and the Board of Education.

Reports To:

Supervisor of Special Services/Principal/Director of Student Personnel Services Job Goal(s): To provide an approved middle school education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members

Qualifications:

Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Elementary K-6 Certification or Content Area Specialization Grades 5-8 preferred

Salary:

Starting salary of $57,547.00
