Position:
General and Special Education Teachers for
Summer Child Study Team Meetings Position Summary:
Ridgewood Public Schools is seeking dedicated and passionate general and special education teachers to participate in summer Child Study Team meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for educators to provide specialized knowledge and support to families during team meetings on an as needed basis.
Position Details:
Participate as one of the N.J.A.C. required members for summer Child Study Team meetings Apply working knowledge to staff and parents in regard to general education programming and special education programming Provide insight into the development of student goals and objectives Foster a supportive and inclusive team meeting Opportunity on an as needed basis
Start and End Dates:
July 2026 - August 2026
Salary:
Based on hourly rate

Other Requirements:
Valid New Jersey teaching certification and Special Education endorsement OR Teacher of the Handicap Experience teaching either general education or special education students in grades PreK-12 depending on the role you are applying to serve. Knowledge of general education standards, curriculum, and implementation. Knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and parents. Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance student learning.
