The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching swimming and water safety, with a strong background in teaching kids with special needs, As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging swimming lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, fostering a safe and positive environment for all participants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to promote physical activity, water safety, and confidence among students of different disabilities Duties Conduct structured swimming lessons for special needs children up to 21 years of age , focusing on skill development, water safety, and confidence building. Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and safety procedures while providing clear instructions and constructive feedback. Develop customized lesson plans that cater to individual needs and learning styles, ensuring progress and engagement. Monitor participants' behavior during lessons, implementing effective behavior management strategies to maintain a safe environment. organize aquatic activities such as exercises -inspired water drills. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including lifeguard responsibilities when applicable. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, equipment, and surrounding facilities. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among students. Experience Prior experience as a lifeguard or in water safety instruction is highly desirable. Knowledge of discipline-based activities into lessons. Experience working with special needs children such as Autism or in childcare settings is preferred to ensure effective behavior management. Proven ability to work with special need students of varying ages and skill levels while maintaining motivation and engagement. Strong communication skills combined with the ability to motivate special needs learners through energetic teaching methods.
