Job Description
The Addison Central School District is seeking an engaging and student-centered candidate to join our team in the role of full time Elementary Special Education Teacher. The Addison Central School District offers competitive salaries starting at a minimum of $53,375, comprehensive benefits, professional development, and ongoing new staff support. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
The successful candidate must:
- Demonstrate knowledge of child development and a variety of strategies to facilitate student engagement and success.

- Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships in the school community.
- Demonstrate being a team player while working with grade level teams to support students. Job Qualifications In addition to the above qualities the successful candidate will need the following:
- NYSED Special Education Certification, Students with Disabilities birth-grade 2, grades 1-6, all grades, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs, creating goals and monitoring the progress of the goals through intensive intervention and data collection.
- Knowledge of student disabilities and aligned strategies to support the various disabilities.
