8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Weekly hours : 35 hours per week

July 13, 2026 - June 24, 2027

Responsibilities :

Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students in an autism program Write, implement, and monitor IEPs Develop measurable IEP goals based on student needs Track student progress and maintain required documentation Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families Support students' academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional needs

Requirements:

Active New York State teaching license with a Students with Disabilities endorsement, or actively working toward obtaining appropriate licensure Experience writing IEPs required Experience in autism, elementary special education, or self-contained settings preferred Recent master's graduates are encouraged to apply Out-of-state licensed candidates needing to transfer licensure are also encouraged to apply Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
