Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to our diversity, equity, and inclusion mission: Cultivating a community where all members experience a sense of belonging. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment to support children's emotional and social development; Plan, deliver, and evaluate instruction for students with IEPs; Co-teach alongside a general education preschool teacher; Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities; Assess and recommend appropriate education and behavioral goals & objectives; Demonstrate understanding and application of behavior management techniques and supports; Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss their child's progress; and Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Salary Range:
$52,100 (Master's Steps 1); $47,072 (Bachelor's Steps 1)
Duration:
September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
