Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Binghamton, NY

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) Previous experience in educational settings with children who are Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing strongly preferred Strong understanding of assistive technologies and alternative communication strategies (e.g., ASL, Cued Speech, auditory/oral approaches) Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to advocating for student inclusion and individualized support Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:
