Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting Understanding of IEP processes, accommodations, and modifications Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff Patience, adaptability, and a positive, student-focused mindset
Daily Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities Provide direct instruction tailored to each student's unique learning needs Modify curriculum and use creative strategies to promote engagement Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and student progress Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff Communicate regularly with families to celebrate achievements and address concerns Support a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
