Duties Develop comprehensive ballet curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of technique, artistry, and performance skills Lead engaging ballet classes that motivate students to improve their dancing abilities while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and clear expectations to maintain focus and respect Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students progress in their technique, flexibility, strength, and stage presence Organize rehearsals for performances or showcases, guiding students through choreography and stage manners Collaborate with parents, guardians, or adult learners to discuss progress, goals, and areas for improvement Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet with a strong understanding of ballet techniques and terminology Knowledge of curriculum development tailored to various age groups including early childhood education, preschool experience, and adult education Classroom management skills that foster a positive learning environment with effective behavior management strategies Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or extracurricular settings Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate dance theory, movement exercises, and performance preparation Background in childhood development or special education is beneficial for working with diverse learners Join us in inspiring dancers of all ages!
