Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Fine Arts Teacher to inspire creativity and artistic expression among students of diverse backgrounds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for the arts through innovative teaching methods, engaging lesson plans, and a supportive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for art education, strong communication skills, and a commitment to nurturing students' individual talents. As a Fine Arts Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing students' artistic skills while integrating technology and inclusive practices to support all learners. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive art curricula aligned with educational standards and tailored to various learning styles, including special education needs. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate various mediums such as painting, sculpture, drawing, and digital arts to stimulate student creativity. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with disabilities and support inclusive classroom environments. Assess student work regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing when applicable. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, school events, and curriculum Provide tutoring or additional support for students needing extra help in art or related subjects such as literacy education or math integration. Maintain detailed records of student attendance, progress reports, and behavioral incidents in accordance with school policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.

Fingerprinted Proven classroom experience teaching art at various grade levels; private school or Montessori experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in classroom management and behavior management strategies. Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners while maintaining high standards of artistic excellence.

$75.00 per week
