  • Part-time Blue Sea Educational Consulting is seeking a dedicated NYS Certified Special Education Teacher to support a student in the Floral Park area.
Immediate Start | Daytime School-Based Case | Through End of School Year with Potential Summer Continuation We are looking for a provider with experience supporting students with behavioral needs who is available to begin immediately. This assignment is expected to continue through the end of the current school year, with the potential for services to extend into the summer. Why Join Blue Sea? What You'll Do:
Provide individualized instruction and support in a school setting Implement and support IEP goals Utilize effective behavior management and intervention strategies Collaborate with school staff and families Track student progress and maintain documentation
Requirements:
Valid NYS Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification Experience working with students with behavioral challenges Based in Nassau County, Suffolk County, or Eastern Queens Reliable transportation Fingerprinting and credential clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active professional liability insurance already in place Previous experience providing behavioral and academic support in school settings Availability to continue services during the summer, if needed Retired teachers are welcome to apply!
