Special Education Teachers

Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements, utilizing effective teaching strategies, and collaborating with parents and other educators to enhance student success. Responsibilities Educate students with special needs in various subjects, ensuring they meet their educational goals. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education and learning technology. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques. Collaborate with other educators to create a supportive learning environment. Design curriculum that is accessible and adaptable for students with varying abilities. Experience A degree in Special Education is required and eligible for New York State special education certification. Experience in special education settings,. Proven ability in classroom management and curriculum development is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
