Position Details:

Full-time schedule with flexibility! 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, includes 2 hour block for prep, planning, and collaboration built into schedule!

Salary range:

$51,500-$60,000, depending on experience. Duties As a Preschool Special Education Teacher, you will: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate & co teach with child education teachers and other staff to adapt curriculum and instructional methods. Provide direct instruction in small group or one-on-one settings to support academic, social, and behavioral growth. Assess and track student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet goals. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders about student performance and needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diversity and respect. Requirements Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Special Education or equivalency preferred. Graduates professionally certified after February 2004, must be New York State certified for students with disabilities birth to second grade.
